This is where Maple and I parted ways and I went to relax poolside for 6 days in Mooloolaba. While it may sound silly to spend 6 days in a new country not doing much… these six days were glorious.
Australia was everything I imagined it to be, and then some. From the beautiful Sun, sand and water all the way to the spiders much too big for my liking. It didn’t disappoint.
I could write a novel about every single couple I worked with this year and then still be forgetting details from the day. One thing I’ve learned after 4 years of being a wedding photographer, is that MY favourite images are rarely YOUR favourite images.

Another year older another year wiser. Kidding. But I did write these 6 lessons down for me to reflect on as I continue to grow as a person and as a business.
I’ll be the first to admit I love my phone. I love social media and I appreciate how it’s made building my business a little simpler. I enjoy seeing what everyone is up to, meeting other boss babes and feeling connected with friends.
It’s like attending a movie; you see snippets into their life and relationship.
You meet them for coffee.
It’s the effortlessness in how they enter a room together, the simplicity in how they interact with you.
