Katelyn reached out to me in August 2017, a typical Type A bride (praise the organized) ready to book her wedding that was two years away. It felt like forever waiting for her and Lyndon’s wedding day, but we finally got here and honestly it might go down as the best day ever… like ever ever. From gorgeous scenery to personalized socks of their cats, adorable written vows to one another and dodging the rain this wedding was a personal favourite to document.
The week leading up to the wedding as a photographer I watch the weather, of course prepared to photograph any day rain or shine. It was looking like a lot of rain, the unavoidable no matter what you do kind of rain that interferes with a timeline. The morning of the wedding as I drove to Canmore to photograph their mountain wedding it was still calling for rain. Rain during the formals, rain during the ceremony, just rain in general. Yet somehow, we dodged it all and managed to get sunshine, fog, mountain views, a perfect day with a side of sunburns.
If you haven’t been to Canmore, you’re in for a treat with these images of a wedding at Silvertip Resort.
Huge thank you to all the vendors who contributed to Katelyn & Lyndon’s Canmore Wedding, we couldn’t have done it without you all.
