The wedding at Stewart Creek Golf & Country Club was stunning, much warmer than anticipated and full of incredible wedding vendors. Thank you so much to the wonderful vendors who contributed to such an awesome wedding in Canmore.
Chad & Ailén decided on a wedding destination of the Okanagan. Specifically just outside of Penticton at the beautiful venue Linden Gardens. What I didn't realize was the reasoning behind this choice. Penticton was where they vacationed first together and yearly there after they've always made time for an annual road trip out.
While these two met at a halloween party, I think my favourite story that I learned so far was about the proposal. It happened on the coldest of days in Calgary. Lauren was suppose to walk across Peace Bridge, and in Chip's mind her walk from work should take 5 minutes.
This past week has been spent getting to know them better, and honestly. Emily is the sweetest human to grace this earth. She's kind, thoughtful, and literally SO smart. I found out Brendan is more than the funny jokes I met 6 years ago. He's generous, thoughtful and wrote one of the best poems I've ever heard.
Imagine planning your wedding for a year and half, planning it around your families vacation home of 90 years... then having to REPLAN your entire wedding in 48 hours. Like what?
I don't even know where to begin with these two. They had me in stitches most the day. Samantha has a contagious giggle, and Andrew was on fire with his blue steel looks and jokes. I couldn't think of a better Saturday to celebrate with them
Jess and Jeff plus their two bundles of joy celebrated becoming official yesterday. Their daughter Grace may have been my most favourite addition to the wedding day routine because her facial expressions, excitement and love for Ring Pops was just too much.
Let me talk about Kristen. I could say without a doubt that she made my two years in college better. Although no one likes to be injured, or spending time doing Physio etc... spending that time with Kristen was fun. She understood my sarcasm, joked about everything and taped my ankles like no one else could do.
