"You are the poem I never knew how to write
and this life is the story I have always wanted to tell"
If you’ve read my blog you’ll know about this couple. You would have read all I had to say about Taylor here.
Yesterday was different; in a way it was surreal. You know, I grew up with Taylor, I listened to her dream about her wedding from the time we could talk. Actually I attended one of her weddings with the neighbor boy across the street. I’m 99% sure I played a large roll in the wedding, but it was so darn long ago I couldn’t be sure. Yesterday’s wedding was a lot more legit and it was all I could have wished for her.
I can’t say much about Brad, I don’t know him more than the stories I’m told and the few chances I’ve gotten to spend time with him. What I can say is he loves Taylor; he keeps her sassy self in check and makes her laugh harder than I’ve ever seen. It’s pretty darn adorable to photograph them, most of the time Taylor is trying her best at holding back her giggles. What’s even better is the way they look at one another, it’s hard to deny a love like theirs.
She’s got a smile that would light up any room, and yesterday she did just that. A lot of people might see Taylor and think she’s just plain gorgeous. But I want everyone to know she’s more than that. Taylor has a heart of gold, she see’s through everyone’s flaws, and she loves hard. I’ve had the privilege of loving her for 22 years through her different phases, her different paths and I’ve never seen her as happy as she is when she is with Brad. Brad is one lucky fellow and I honestly can’t wait to watch these two grow old together.
I’m hoping that Taylor & Brad love these photos just as much as I was honored to be apart of their day. I hope when you look at these images you feel the love that I witnessed the whole day through.
